Golf Fitness Exercises for the senior golfer
Learn exercises golf fitness can help you improve your game as a Mature golfer. It happens to everyone, even if we do not want to admit. The reality is that we all age. Some you already know what I speak, and others do not yet know the phenomenon of aging.
Those of you who read this article and are more "chickens" spring get my drift. Even if you're one of the lucky ones, still young, let me give you Details on what happens in the body receives some miles on it.
Probably the biggest thing we all hate when we slip into thirties and forties is the extra pound (weight for example), we tend to put on. (It is also much harder to take off as we age.) Unfortunately, because our metabolism slows, we are unable to book a hamburger, fries and a couple of coke without bathroom scale click on "tilt" a few days later. In my mind, which is probably the most difficult adjustment we have to do: an adjustment in our nutrition intake as we age.
The second difference is more noticeable with age, especially for the person more active, is it becomes a little harder to get out of bed. The back is a little sore, the knees are a little creaky, and if you workout, the pain does not disappear as quickly.
This is the result of a number of things that happen in our bodies when we age. Number we lose a percentage of our muscle mass on an annual basis. After the age of 25 (do not quote me on the details, but I think) about 1 percent muscle mass is lost per year. Makes sense now why we should suffer a little and get out of bed is more difficult. We just do not have the muscles Things to do the job.
I could go on and on with the depressing facts of aging, but only one more look before moving on. As we age we become less flexible. You need much more time to stretch for all sporting activities including golf, tennis, or a resumption of basketball. Less flexibility predisposes you to experience more difficulty with certain movements: touching your toes, rotating during a golf swing, or even down over and pick up something on the ground. Why this happens? Our body, as a result of wear, become tighter and less flexible as we age.
So there you have it! Some key things to expect as you age (I'm kidding of course). So if you're in their twenties and you read this article enjoy it while it lasts, because the road becomes a little more difficult to travel as you age.
If you are beyond their twenties, I'm sure you can relate the general results of aging in relation to your golf game. Quite simply, extra pounds decrease your stamina (and can affect your swing plane). Less muscle equals less distance off the tee, and decreased flexibility tends to make the turn in the golf swing much more difficult to achieve. An unfortunate situation, but the good news is that we can slow the aging process and limit the effects of aging on your golf game.
I have given you basic information on some of the apparent aging process. It is now time to discuss how can be a slow and reverse the aging process.
How do we do? It is actually quite simple and requires only a short time daily (15-20 minutes) and a little discipline. Sounds pretty easy when you think about all the benefits you stand to gain. Remember that we can not stop the aging process, but we can only slow it down. The benefits of slowing the aging process are evident when you see guys in their years 50's Tour winner.
It just takes a little time, some knowledge and discipline. If you say, I have no time let me ask you a question: How do you feel 10 years younger right now and hit the ball farther, you have in your twenties? I guess the answer to both questions is a resounding yes!
Let's start with the first issue we have described when you get older, the extra pounds. Unfortunately, as you age your metabolism slows down. For those of you unfamiliar with the metabolism of the word, thinking that inside your own home. This is the speed at which you burn fuel (food is the fuel of the body).
When we are young, we tend to fast metabolisms, and as we get older they slow. Well, let me tell you, there are activities to speed metabolism backup. The way to do this is by performing some fitness activities. If you are active and participate in some type of activity structured, your body burns more fuel and elevate its metabolism during this time.
In addition, if these activities are resistance training activities (weights, tubing, light weights, body weight), then over time you can build muscle. The great thing topic is the more muscle you have the higher your basal metabolic rate all the time (translation, you will burn more fuel all day and night). Another advantage of these activities will be greater endurance on the course. Thus, rather than spraying plans around the back nine because you are tired, you can be accurate to enter the 18th.
Turning to our second point, the loss of muscle mass with age, it is hard to swallow. Just think, we lose muscle with age. Quite depressing. The good news is that it may be limited or stopped.
Before I give you the solution, look at how this affects your golf swing. Essentially, in the golf swing you create speed of the clubhead. This is the club head speed is the result of creating rotational power, which we define as a couple. For create a torque, the muscles must be flexible, strong and powerful.
Now, guess what? If you have less muscle, what do you think happens to the outputs of your power and clubhead speed? The answer is that they will decline. No wonder they are tall trees, with great flexibility. These are the manufacturers of golf try to solve this problem.
It contributes to a certain extent, but we have a better solution. What would you put something in your bag makes you stronger, improves your power, and returns the distance lost? Sounds good? Well, this may be done if you implement a golf fitness training program strength. You can regain lost muscle mass, take power, and improve your driving distance. That is what we call the force development courses, and it can be done with a program that takes a total of 15 minutes per day!
Finally, moving to the issue of flexibility, our bodies lose flexibility as we age. Flexibility is a must when it comes to momentum golf. Here's what happens when you do not work on your flexibility.
A loss of flexibility in the golf swing limits the ability of the body to perform the actions necessary to create the proper swing. Essentially, your body will not allow you to take the club back and through on the way swing correctly. This leads to miss hits, slices, hooks and a whole bunch of other plans that are very unpleasant.
Then how can we solve this problem or not it can become a problem? The answer is to implement the program flexibility of golf. This requires again a daily commitment, but the delay is very low, about 5-10 minutes per day. If yet, ask yourself: Is it worth spending 5 minutes a day the flexibility of having the golf swing that you want? I bet most of you would answer yes.
Well, there you have the pleasure, displeasure, joys, sorrows and the aging process. We are all aging, but there are things we can do to prevent the unpleasantness and penalties. If we take a little time every day and perform the appropriate exercises and activities, we can reduce the effects of aging and considerable changes, as long as we like.
It becomes clear after reading this article the benefits of a program Fitness golf can bring the player in middle age. Through a series of exercises golf, a player can mature improve flexibility, increase strength, and develop more power. All this leads to an improved golf swing. All what is required is a small amount of time and effort.
