I think having an eating disorder. How do I tell my parents if I can get help?
I am 14 now, 15 in 11 days, and I am sure I have an eating disorder. I sometimes eat a bowl of cereal in the morning, but do not eat anything else until what I read, except maybe an apple. I do not eat my dinner, I avoid it completely. I say I'll eat later, to my parents, then leave. Some days I do not eat at all. And I always go out and walk in the fields of circle until I burn on my pedometer CAL 500-600. I 1200 sit-ups on my ab machine all other nights. I always obsessed with how I look, and it makes me depressed a lot, too. I also just me hate to eat the food so I end up having dinner. I just want to help if I can talk to someone and return to normal. How do I tell my parents so they can get help? I also have OCD, which they have knowledge, even if it is much better than before be. If that counts?
I think you should tell them bluntly here as in the words: Mom, Dad I have an eating disorder. this is easier said than done but if you can always try to write a note or an e-mail or something for them, I am sure they will simply be happy to ask for help from them.
